Program in multiple phases
The New Year's Eve route in the city stretches for about two kilometers. Celebrations started in the city center from 2pm and at Ferris Wheel Square and Town Hall Square from 1pm. Central stations include Freyung, Stephansplatz and Kärntner Straße. The tribute show “Falco – In Concert” was announced as one of the centerpieces of the Radio Wien stage at Rathausplatz.
