Royal Caribbean has announced new details about Utopia of the Seas, the cruise line's next ship to debut in Florida this summer.
Utopia of the Seas is the sixth and last ship of the Oasis class, launched 15 years ago with Oasis of the Seas, ushering in the era of mega ships. The new building will be 236,860 GT, with double berths for up to 5,668 guests and 16 passenger decks.
Utopia of the seas – food supply
Utopia of the Seas will have more than 20 dining options including “Royal Railway – Utopia Station”. It is considered a special culinary experience where guests travel around the world as if traveling on a luxury train.
From past to present and from America's Wild West to exotic flavors from around the world, each course offers a unique experience. The journey begins with a welcome drink at the train station before boarding the carriage after hearing the whistle.
Another new Royal Caribbean dining concept featured at Utopia of the Seas is The Spare Tire. This poolside food truck offers pulled pork sandwiches, cheeseburger flatbreads, daily changing desserts and the Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
The ship will also feature Royal Caribbean's second Izumi at the park, with a convenient pick-up window for sushi and Japanese street food. More teppanyaki tables and outdoor dining are planned for Izumi. Giovanni's Italian Kitchen is expanding two floors and will offer a new menu of Italian dishes. There is also a terrace with views of the Boardwalk District.

Utopia of the Seas will be the world's second-largest cruise ship when it enters service in July and will offer three- and four-night cruises exclusively to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral, Florida. Comparably short routes for a new ship are unprecedented.
Three-night cruises depart every Friday and four-night cruises depart every Monday. The trip will start from July 22. A perfect day on this four-night cruise to Nassau and the cruise group's private island – Kokokay. Three night cruises call at the same ports – without sea daylight.
