The Netherlands beat Turkey 2-1 to secure the final place in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.

Turkey kept the “Oranje” under control with more fight and physicality and strengthened their attack more and more as the first half progressed.

Ten minutes before the break, the Turks reap the fruits of their labor: prodigy Arda Guler brings the ball to the second post with an excellent cross, where advancing defender Akeidin converts it to make it 1-0 (35th).

With the lead behind them, Turkey pulled back a bit, but the Netherlands only had their first chance through Debe in the 51st minute.

A double hit only after 70 minutes

The turning point of the game came in the 71st minute when De Vrij equalized for the Dutch with a monumental header from a Depuy cross.

Moments later, Gakpo finally made it 2-1 (76th) and put the Dutch on the road to victory.
