Last season, Red Bull Salzburg did not win against Blau-Weiß Linz. On Saturday the “Bulls” celebrated a 5-1 victory over the Upper Austrians. Kluk scored three goals to become the winner.

A happy Salzburg team won the second game of the new Bundesliga season. In the first home game, Lijnders beat Blau-Wiß Linz 5-1 (2-1) on Saturday to celebrate a successful dress rehearsal for Tuesday’s second leg Champions League qualifier against Twente Enschede. Man of the evening Kluk turned the game around with three goals (15th, 34th, 62nd) after an early 0-1 deficit.
The Blue-Whites, a sort of “feared opponent” of the favorites with a 1-0 win and a 1-1 draw last season, took the lead through Nos (12th) but could do little to counter Salzburg’s unleashed in the end. Attack power. In the end, eleven openers Yeoh (73rd) and Pitstrup (77th) completed the impressive victory. After a 1-0 opening win over Austria Vienna, the Blau-Weiß suffered its first defeat.
Lijnders wanted “new energy sources” for the fight with the foreigner. Half a dozen others were given the chance, and Melberg, an 18-year-old Bundesliga debutant, was a real surprise at left full-back.
Bad memories came
As planned, Salzburg had more of the game in a fast-paced encounter and had a few half-chances, but after twelve minutes they were reminded of the previous season. He shot at goal after a high ball.
